Good job. I find that you need heat when dealing with rust. Heat the parts up to get rid of moisture with a heat gun or even a good halogen lamp. Treat with the rust stuff and prime with zinc rich primer. Heat again before applying anything over it or the moisture will get trapped underneath, draw salts from the air/road and start all over again but this time you wont see it.

Bought and fitted a hardtop, a style bar and a pair of BOSE speakers. I love bank holidays. Thanks to Robert Autocheck for being open today.

The guy selling the hardtop threw them in with it for free - happy times!

Are they rare? I'd have thought Autocheck would come across them from time to time.

Nice one Andrew..love the sound of the supercharger, was there myself on Monday as a passenger , we had to bail out before the end of the morning session with a collapsed wheel bearing..fair dues to Mondello though, they refunded the afternoon session's value to us!!

Yep, sure is. It was dropping me on the straights but i had it in the corners. I was even backing off into and out of the corners.

took off driver's side chassis rail, treated surface rust and under sealed it and the driver's side floor.

Two lower ball joints + two tierod ends arrived this morning too.

passenger side floor treated, sealed + chassis rails back on.
Front wishbones off now, bushing swop + upper ball joint boot change in progress.

End link boots were mangled so replaced them too
