Driving around Carlow today and the clutch pedal started getting spongy to the point that the biting point was through the floor.
Checked the clutch resvior to find it low and the fluid was black.
Slave cylinder was also covered in brake fluid.
Rebuild kit on the way.

While I had my hands dirty I decided to check why the passenger window was only going down halfway. One of the clips holding the winder cables fell out and the cable with catching on the glass as it lowered. Clipped it back in and all good again.

Finally got around to fitting my new momo prototipo wheel, had a nardi boss on the car so I got a wheel pcd adaptor from Bellavolante on ebay to fit the new one, here's a picture installed, took ages to do because I managed to round one of the Allen heads on the nardi wheel, managed to get it off eventually by having to drill it out, think the new wheels really fits in with the retro look I'm going for

Yesterday , power hosed engine , gearbox, axles . Basically power hosed / washed everything except the interior.
While I was at it I found what I think is a radar jammer, don't know if pic loaded properly , it previews upside down

NCT Done Yesterday On The S Special. The tester said she was the car of the month, spotless underneath, no rust and everything tight.

For the test I put new boots on the track rod ends with new split pins 10 euro total, not bad.
