Jeez yeah! We must have another soon...
Found this post from Wim from the first Dyno day we did :

Morning all,
maybe some feedback on Saturday's feature: The Dynoday.
As all of you know some of us went for not such a normal drive on
Saturday. We went to Westward Engineering Dyno Centre in Enfield.
What they do is strap up the car to the ground (in Frank's case add
some 50 kg extra to the boot hehe!), put the rear wheels on rolls,
put a big fan in front of the car, check your engine if it runs
smoothly, and then go for the test.
They rev your engine in every gear and see if all goes good. After
that they go for the real test: make the car roll in 4th gear, and
then rev it up from 2000rpm to what they consider as the end of it's
range.
---------------------------------
What came out of that test is this for my car:
It's a 1991 1.6 Si, no modification except from K&N-filter and has
150.000km on the clock (since Saturday, party!) and came standard
with approx 116bhp in 1991.
Power at flywheel: 123,9bhp
Power at wheels: 99,2bhp
Power loss (due transmission, tyres, etc): 24,7bhp
Max torque Speed 4330rpm (at 62,5mph in 4th gear)
Max engine torque: 111,1 lb ft
Max road speed reached in test: 101.0 Mph
Maximum Engine Speed reached in test: 6997rpm
So how did I get these 1239,9bhp instead of the standard 116bhp. Well
it seems that the combination of the K&N-filter and my geniously
designed aluminium air box did the trick.
I am a happy man!
-------------------------------------------
So who was there?
Frank: some 197bhp (with untuned turbo, tuned would easily reach
240bhp+)
John: around 109bhp
Steve with JR Cold Air Intake: 123,2bhp
Simon: around 109bhp
AJ with engine trouble
WiM (me) with K&N-filter: 123,9bhp
AJ's cars unfortunately failed for the test and couldn't go for the
run, due to engine trouble. Poor AJ, unlucky for the last 3 weeks
with all kind of engine troubles and incompetent mechanics.
All together I did enjoy this day very much. It's worth giving your
car a go one day, just to find out what your engine still does...
Thanks lads,
WiM
