Removed for a V6 swap ..... !!!!!!

Given the price I hear these go for, that seems good - I wouldn't have the cajones, or know how, to fit it.

I love the idea of a turbo or a supercharger and that price is a bargain, but just want to run mine standard for a year or two.

V6 swap, eh ? I wonder if he signed up for one of the Rocketeer conversions. I'd love that turbo kit....new fencing going up at home next week dictates otherwise.
I'm also at a crossroads as regards keeping the car....

Another crossroads! Your car looks fantastic, and I've found little else that puts a smile on my face like a spin in the MX5. Plus (tho this isn't a good enough reason to keep a car) it's only going to increase in value.

Don't do what i did this week..... I sold the Beetle, and have regretted it ever since!!!!

Not at all Graham, nothing lined up but after many years of MX5's, I get phases of itchy feet. That and the fact that vintage tax is so enticing, I have been looking at older machinery.
Your Beetle was divine ! I hope it went to a good home.....I'd regret selling that too !!!
And very true regarding increasing values. Decent Mk1's are getting harder to find for sale.
