Great pictures Pops. Great to get out like that. You have great choices with the SLK as well. How you getting on with that?. I sold my R171 and changed to a TT as my daily driver. Love the TT but its just not for me. I think I prefer the SLK.

Hi Len, the slk is great, a really comfortable car that hasn't missed a beat since I got it, I fixed any issues it had with some extra guidance from Steve, such as blocked oil breathers etc. It passed the nct lately with no issues and now is declared off the road as I intend to use the mx5 for the summer.
Slk will need the rust repaired properly if I'm to keep it long term also I'm thinking of overhauling the supercharger as I think it's a bit noisy, plenty of time yet to make up my mind if I really want to do anything with it or leave it alone until any faults develop fully.
It's a real competition between the two as to which is the most enjoyable

Thanks Ray, after all the effort getting back on the road I'm now busy doing a bathroom renovation at the moment so the car is put to bed again
