Friday night saw the collecting of several brave souls for the match, pints + poker;-) Saturday morning, 10:30(ish) 7 MX5's, 1 RX7 and a Triumph Stag gathered and headed out through Connemara to Leenane (yes the bridge is gone), back via "Malheur Frank" (the skidmarks are still there) and Cong. Sunday morning 4 MX5's took to the road, then stopped shortly afterwards again in Athenry for a spectacular breakfast (food was fine too). Then hit the backroads to Loughrea (great road). We tried getting close to the wind farm just south of Lough Rea but the road ended up in someone's yard, so back to the main road stopping only to watch John turn his car round to face the right way after a quick spin (literally;-).
