Changed brake caliper, broke pop up light.

Next weekend,

Is it a big job removing the air con?
When I go turbo I'm going to be looking for a bigger rad also, and might want the extra room.

Removing the air con is quicker than you think, you can easily fit a intercooler in with the a/c rad too.

I have to say I think the power steering in the mk1 is the best in any car I have driven. Its one of the best parts of the car, mine see's a lot of track action too.

Ya i only removed mine because im planning on a few drift days and want to fit extra lock aswel which i have head will fuck up the seals in the rack. I had the car out a few weeks ago in a big yard seeing how it would go and ended up covering the front end of the engine bay in power steering fluid out of the resivior.

that make sense, overflowing p/s fluid is common when on track. I keep my resevoir at the min and it still boils. A bigger cooling loop could solve the problem too. Extra lock sounds good, especially for drifting.

Ya hopefully it works out now because the mx5 seems to hit the standard full lock very easy

All very well but they didn't weld up the valve on the pinion shaft so your gonna have a wee bit of play remaining.

To do it properly you must do this..........
