From previous post below - I've had this recurring intermittent shudder. Anyway this was isolated to a brake problem, so this evening, book & spanners in hand said I'd have a look. (front right wheel/brake)
First issue when on the jack was the wheel would only barely turn - vs a free-turning left side. So made fresh tea, put on some music & went at the brake. The caliper (the bit with the cylinder ?) was WEDGED down over the pads, permanently squeezing them onto the disc & pretty much locking the wheel. Took pads out & re-seated them (they're dead anyway - need new ones again) & all seemed well till caliper went back on - wedged again.
Does this mean its goosed (or do I just need fresh tea)
