Bodyshop work (my mate David!)

Postby Stig » Mon, 25 May 2009 8:39 +0000

I'm getting my front bumper and rear bumper painted and lacquered by my mate David in the near future.
He always looks after me on price and is 100% honest and a pro.
He's done stuff for mie in the past that was perfect.
He's Kilkenny based, and if you need anything spraying or the like, txt me or pm me and I'll hook you up with him and he'll look after all mx5ireland heads!

Rgds,

O

Could you ask him how much to spray a large car bonnet like an mx5. I can sand it down and deliver to him.

And a front wing :-/

Got a quote for STG90 from the guy that fixed it last time, but would be interested in a EURO quote

I'm thinking of re-spraying the whole car in a special metalic blue/purple.
I have a quote for e 1,650. several layers of laquer, etc. What can he do (criteria is that' it's 100%, I rather save a bit longer than get a botch job done)

Gents,

David does'nt do Bodge. He's a professional and works at body repair all day. It's his livin'. His work for me has been exemplary and what he does for me is in his free time @ his own place, keeping costs in check.
Cloggy, you'd need to meet him and discuss it and he'd have to throw his eye over your car and see what work is involved in your respray project. He's KK based.
Steve, yes, he does wings - and again, he'd need to see the damage to price properly. pm me if you want his details/to hook up with him to show him your car.

Thanks All,
O.

any idea on the cost of a full respray on an alfa 75 (boxy mid sized saloon car). It would be stripped, and prepped, and would need proper primer, paint, and laquer.

Also, any before, after pictures of his work?

Lenny, It'll be no more than €99.
Like come on in fairness and as previously stated, you'd need to meet him and discuss it and he'd have to throw his eye over your car and see what work is involved in your respray project.
He's Kilkenny based - pm me if you want his no.
