While the weather's reasonably good, you might consider checking the rain rail for dirt and other gunk.. better to do it now than in the winter

Today, as it did nothing only piss rain I spent some time in my home away from home (the garage  ) working on my engine bay.
I've been bitten by the bug and I get a strange sense of satisfaction from cleaning and pimping my bay......sad but true :|
Anyways, the air inlet manifold was my target today.

I want to spray it up like my cam cover so it needed to be totalled wired brushed down and then machine brushed as well as the dremel going at it to get into those nooks and crannies.
Came up well so far -

I cleaned and prepped the ring clip too and sprayed it black - here's it drying -

Busy boy eh! Something I'll be taking a look at doing, shortly.

I got the numberplate plinth on E-bay from Autolink, fitted it and the front looks a lot better for it.

The cowling can be removed by grabbing on both sides and pulling forward with EVEN force..be careful, I broke two of the three fixings when taking mine off. The instrument panel is easy enough to remove, it's screwed in AFAIR.

Thanks John, I unscrewed the area around the steering wheel, then undid the 2 screws holding the cowel in place, but could not get it out.

You gonna let someone pull it off in Tullamore or are you gonna wait and have it pulled off in Lough Key?

Well if you want something pulled off then the next run is the best place, especially if John L is around. He's really good a pulling stuff off, like windscreen washer jets, and Ollie can testify to this.   Isn't that right John?
Good luck with the rest of your fit-out.
