Nope... MAx damage... hole in the sump...

Cast Alu sumps are impossible to weld. Looking for a sump or an engine for her. :(

Hey Geese. Sorry for your troubles.

Ger said something at the weekend about having a spare engine that doesn't work. It might have the sump attached.

Try PM him

In the Dublin Area yeah, but it never happens down here in the country. A pal of mine never EVER taxes his car, NEVER.
He was stopped and the Garda says to him I'm going to seize this car. Then he made a call and came back to my pal and said I'm going to fine you instead. I'm not going to seize the car as our yard/lockup back at the station is FULL!

God Geese you're having no luck....so sorry to hear that. :(

Yep if the tax is out even less than 2 months they can and do seize ur car. OH's car was seized in Limerick city in full traffic a month ago...money making racket, pay €120 to get ur car back and pay arrears in tax! Disaster, still nothing like the day ur having.

Power of positive thinking Geese, things will get better!

I'm not sure how it works in the South, but in the North if you don't pay your car tax, it's not road legal & therefore your insurance is invalid too.
