Pad Change ProblemsHaving finally toasted my front pads at a track day yesterday, l decided to fit new pads and disks today. All seemed to be going OKish but l am struggling now. l think the piston is back as far as it will go (using a G-Clamp to push it in). But l can't get the caliper to drop down over the pads - it just won't accomodate them. Am l just being a wuss and not screwing hard enough (ooer)?

![]() Re: Pad Change ProblemsAlways nice to be able to answer your own question.
![]() A bit of persistance did the trick. Will be doing it again in the morning when the red mist clears, then moving on to the remaining corners. AKA Jeremy

![]() Re: Pad Change Problemsdon't forget to open the brake fluid reservoir under the bonnet, as you push the piston back the fluid level rises.
![]() Re: Pad Change Problemsand use the adjuster if retracting the pistons on the rear!
