I changed the side reflector bulbs to clear today (fingers still suffering frostbite). Only bulbs the motorfactors had were 5watt which I bought anyway..they are fine however wonder if you can get a higher wattage or even should I bother? Also, not that I care, are they legal?

mx5parts, my front disks needed renewing.. was just going to renew them and replace the rear passenger side piston seal.
Then saw a set of mk2.5 Sport brakes for sale.. they just needed rear pads and front disks. Will have to wait for the weather to warm up a bit before I install tho'.

Did you do it with the mechanism in-situ? When I did mine I took the whole lot out in order to get a good look at how it worked..probably would have been easier if I left them in the door

Anyhow, roll on next Saturday, hope the sun is shining like today!!

Just did much the same job as Stigmeister today, but on my 'other' car. Window was sticking just less than at maximum height. Took it all apart, took the motor and scissors out of the door panel.

Wwas hoping to find something just needed adjusted or oiled but... nooooo, that would have been too east. The scissor/ratchet thing has lost a couple of teeth. Parts from main dealer (UK) are around 500STG incl the motor, so I am trying to source just the scissor part. Expecting to pay 200STG I guess.

Tomorrow, if the sun be with me, I will install a GPS tracking system into the car (thanks Stevo).
