Yeah Shaun, it actually has a different pcd to the momo I had on it, but the boss from the old Personal wheel that was on the car when I got it fitted perfectly

Went looking for softtop cleaner, the available specific stuff was silly $$.
Picked up this instead for less than 1/3 of the price (it mentioned mohair softtops on the back) :

Gave it a go today, amazing how much dirt lifted/rinsed off , great job.

Always a pleasure to hear, I'll try the interior cleaner out (on the outside), Always appreciate the recommendations on here.

BTW

I took off my Tie down hooks the other day, (Baby teeth) , quite the ordeal, but i got there in the end, if you're gonna do it soon, stock up on band-aids

Removed the anodised coating from my Nardi today as it was a duller shade of silver to the rest of the interior pieces, left it with a brushed finish to match the gear knob and handbrake handle.

i use FlashDash

works quite well and gives it good shine

also started stripping the old paint from my recently purchased rims that i bought of mx5sideways.. its fun watching the paint swell up and crack/explode

Removed downpipe and had the flange decked/faced. No more leak/headache/doublevision ;-)

Installed new polyurethane lower shock bushes (got from autolink) to replace the perished rubber ones that had begun to squeek a bit

Not the 5 today but ripped apart a glanza to do the head gasket on it. Bar steward of a job

Changed the gearbox and diff oils today. Yes, I have the damned stuff in my hair now still despite taking a shower.

Fitted new alarm (as 2yr old hid fob for the old alarm.. prob in the same place the old tv remote + my gps live)

Stripped the stripe off my 5...

have to spend more time getting glue off tonight...sad day but all going well i shall have a brand new stripe by tomorrow night
