I will be replacing my Eibach springs as the front is just too low. How come you went from coilovers back to a regular set up ?
Just curious as I was contemplating coilovers as a possibility. S-Special type springs were my other choice.

Personal preferance really, I like a firmer setup on the back than the coilovers gave me, I could have replaced the rear springs with something firmer but I already had the replacement shocks and springs in the shed gathering dust ;-)

What did I do today..nothing, but last night I committed a henious crime on my mx5.......I managed to put DIESEL in the tank ( not paying attention at the pump)

Luckily it was only €10 worth and I had only gone 100 yds from the station when I realised my mistake ( chugging engine and a weird smell), so I limped back and filled the tank with the real stuff. She started with a massive cloud of smoke from the exhaust and spluttered along for about 5 minutes , so I decided to head for Dublin anyway. By the time I got to the motorway she was running fine and I had no further issues for the journey... hopefully that's the end of that!!!!

Today was the day for a new timing belt , 100k km is getting near and i had no idea if or when the belt might have been done , 4 hours work later and the belt , tensioner and cam cover gasket are all replaced , good days work.
interestingly the old belt looked perfect but the bearing in the tensioner was a little dry and wanted changing, waterpump was perfect so i left it in there.
