RSAs new idea

Postby rhysmate » Wed, 13 Feb 2013 1:10 +0000

This video stirs something in me.... whether you label the community as 'boy racers' or 'yobs' we all fall under the same interest. The love for our cars.. I do t know about you but I'd much rather sit in my shed until all hours of the morning and spend every spare cent I have on my car than go out e very weekend and make a fool of myself.. my worry about the RSAs new idea for testing modded cars is that it will kill off a lot of young lads interest..don't get me wrong, I think major mods should be looked at by a professional, but knowing the way the government handles things it will be a disaster.

Here is the full RSA paper and the reply information,, they are looking for the publics response, not that it will make any difference but if you have an opinion on it its not harm to reply.

I for one hope that we don't turn into some other countries with the strict modifying laws they have on cars. yet that is plainly what they are planning to do, they even quote the situations in other countries which are in fact very strict.

They can kiss my ass of they think I am going to pay for an NCT and then head off for another test to say my wheels are ok, or my new mirrors are safe or whatever. If a car passes the NCT it is road legal, what else do they have to be concerned with.

The above video is very cool, it really strikes a cord.
