Coilovers 1993 NA

Postby Mazotasan » Sat, 04 May 2013 12:42 +0000

Hi There,

I am looking for a full set of coilovers for a 1993 1.6 NA (jap import) on 15's. Anything considered, preference for something adjustable and in decent condition. Current set up I am guessing is original bilstein and rear drivers side spring is broken. Hoping to replace next week with new or used coilovers. Car is a daily driver but would mind a more direct handling feeling/experience... Anyone got anything interesting...

Good Spot, Nice Coilovers...was in contact the seller but the shipping was working out too expensive. Well made coilovers and I'd say they'd be ideal with different springs.

I was in touch with a company who gave me a raffle prize last week. they can do TA Technixx coilovers for €280 if that was your thing.

Just not sure about the cheaper coilovers, read so many good and bad stories I'm in the dark. Personally I don't like the look of the welds on the mounting boss. Maybe the others are worth the few quid extra

I fitted three sets of ta technixx coils over the last few weeks and have spent a fair bit of time driving on them and they are spot on. Two sets were second hand and still spot on.
I come from a background of much more expensive items to be quite honest.

Aside from that you will be lucky to get any decent second hand ones in Ireland and shipping is a nightmare from england and they are still rare enough.

Are the above ones brilliant shocks or something, be proabably €400 for them delivered here or so? If I was buying a decent set I would go with BC but that's just me :-)
