Portable car lift

Postby Merlot man » Tue, 25 Jun 2013 4:26 +0000

Hello all,
I'm on the lookout for a portable car lift that can be stored away when not being used ,midrise would be fine .
I've seen the maxxjacks one, great job but too much money
First thing i'm looking for is advice, and if anybody has something for sale that they think would fit the bill, great.
My phone no is 0868165151
Thanks in advance
Brian

Hmm, I've seen a setup before where a guy used the ram and frame from an old fork lift as a device to lift a car in a workshop..wasn't particularly portable, but was highly effective..might be an option..do you know anyone working in the hydraulic or fork lift trade?? I'm sure I've often seen old fork lifts lying around..just can't remember where right now.

Thanks John
That's a good idea but i'm looking for something a bit smaller and tidier that can lift a car but easy and neat to store away as most of the time it wont be needed.
I've seen those tilting car lifts from cj autos .....does anyone have/used one what are your thoughts?
