Gear Knob

Stupid Q but

I have a Mk1 , how do you get the gear knob off? I am afraid I will break it if I try to force it any more, I tried twisting it counter and Clockwise

I'd say it's gone off it's thread..try turning counter-clockwise and pulling upwards at the same time, this may pull it back onto the thread.

if its a nardi knob it has a tiny allen key screw in the side under the rubber

Does your original Nardi knob have these 3 grub screws Rhys? I think copies like mine have them, otherwise real ones just screw down on the lever.

No just one little one! The originals had em so you could line up the nardi emblem when you screw it on
