Shortened steering knuckles

Any body on here have shortened steering knuckles or would know where a fella mite b able to find sum? On the quest for sum extra lock

I have some got them off shaneh on here. Unreal differnce with them as standard mx5 lock is shit. At the moment my track rods are hitting the wishbones on full lock but gonna notch a small bit outa the wishbone to get more. Em im also running 15x8 et10 on the front as i had 15x7 et38 and they were rubbing way before full lock. Oh i also have rack spacers on aswelbut they might work enough for you. Eh i just took out the tie rod and put 3 €2 coins without the centre and a bit of studlock on each side. Then u will need the car aligned. Try the spacers first and see how you get on.

Good ta hear about de knuckles, do u no if he welds dem up himself r does he get dem in?? Ya i was lukin at spacers as well, do u have a manual rack or PS? I'v PS and was worried bout damaging seals?! Was half thinking of depowering de rack anyway but wud b good ta hear experience from sum1 who's already done it? I'm working in a garage so alignment is not an issue

He has a jig and get them welded. Eh ya i got rid of the power steering completly using the flying miata guide and it feels grand a small bit heavy when stopped but when your moving is grand i had no problems my last day out with it. I would start with the spacers and see how you get on mite be enough lock for you and still can keep the power steering Because if you go with knuckles it will fuck up the seals in the rack

Have only had it out 2 days and the last one in mondello with the extra lock and going again the end of march. Eh if your ever down around enniscorthy give me a shout and you can come out and have a look at the lock
