Fog light conector

Postby BAwagon » Thu, 20 Mar 2014 11:56 +0000

I have NCT booked for next Wednesday and only figured out My ds fog light doesn't work because the connector behind the light is faulty. It a JDM RS and I guess this little thing is different to EU cars. If anyone Has one spare please give Me a shout. Thx.

I had an Irish subaru and replaced the rear light cover to a JDM which Had no fog light. It failed the test because the switch was still in the car but no foglights. That's why I am affraid.

But these are front?? and front driving lights are not compulsory for NCT.?? Although in saying that if fitted I suppose they should be working.Try breakers yard as earlier. The Renault ones I suggested may have a few types of plugs on the wiring end so just check connectors .I have some here in Black and Brown but not mx5 ones,so I am not sure if they will work. Also in motor factors they sell selection of H7 type bulbs with connectors already fitted but the shapes where they fit in to the lamp varies from car to car and also the lenght of the actual glass .Are you in Dublin today or next Friday as you could call and I will have a look but cant guarantee we have what you need.!!

Thx Robert for all the help!
She flew thorough the test Yesterday morning for first attempt. I could get the fog working so took bulb from the other side off and it wasn`t an issue.
