Good garage near Rathfarnham, Dublin?

Hi all!

I decided to treat my old faithful '98 MX5 with a bit of extra TLC, beside regular servicing, and am looking for a good garage near/around Rathfarnham, D14. I used to service my car at SDK motors in Stoneybatter, D7 for years and they're very very good but I live and work on the opposite site of the city and too inconvenient to leave the car there, I'd recommended them anytime btw. Since I moved recently to D14 I would like to know of some good local garage. I'd need a panel beater as well to fix some bumper and door scratches which are inevitable unfortunately the way people park around here.

So far a friend mentioned Winton garage in Churchtown, Landscape road. Anyone with MX5 experience with them?

Just had work done on my '98 MX5 at Atlas in Sandyford Industrial estate. Good job done. promises kept. I can recommend them.

I know it's not in South Dublin but I'd highly recommend Robert Maguire out in Swords.

A gent to deal with and he's working on my car at the moment replacing the springs.

Highly recommended by many on here.

After giving Atlas a plug, I have to report the other side of the experience. I brought the MX5 back to them because of a battery light on the dashboard. They replaced the alternator but now it's very hard to start and the battery light still comes on occasionally - they've washed their hands of it saying they don't have a computer to do the diagnostics on so old a car.

Anyone have Robert's phone number or email address?
