that sounded a bit dodgy .. your missus and my OH might have a problem if we are meeting at 8PM at the Kilgowan inn!!!! escpecially as my OH will be with me!

Ollie ... that is 8AM .. just to clarify.

Cow guys .. want to make that a bit earlier and hook up with us?

I fancy a convoy for my first run .. :D

it would be easier if you could wait till a little later
FabFiveFerg does not do mornings.

er

.. not sure we would drive through Kilkenny if we are going via Waterford?

far be it for me a mere woman to suggest but there is another route via Carrick on Suir which would take us that way.

I'm easy either way. Ollie you would probably know the Kilkenny road .. fun to drive?

Hi All,
The road from Kilkenny to Carrik on Suir (via Grangemockler - good fast road - bit of fun for the 5's, accross the suir river in carrik - head for the golf course road, (there is some nice comeragh mountain views on this road, much more scenic than the main way) and then head on for lemybrien (this is the village between waterford city and dungarv) - then headed straight for the pike and down into lovely dungarv.........I know it like the back of me hand!
its approx 50 miles going this way by the online routeplanner!

The main road from kk to waterford city is windey, boring, slow and downright dangerous sometimes! I drove it for years when i worked in the Deise. Going this way its 58 miles! See, I'm saving the planet going the carrik way too!!!!

So, I'm, going this way and will meet ye at the carpark of the woodies/fkc/halfords on the ring road in kilkenny.
Give me an ETA for you're arrival in kilkenny.

be sure to hang a left up the ring road @ the kutoba tractor dealership coming in the dublin/carlow road into Kilkenny - then straight through the nxt 2 roundabouts and woodies etc is on the left.

i'll be an 1 hour and 10 or 20 from kk - so we should aim to meet in kk for 8.50 or 8.55am...........backtime that from where you're setting off!

rgds,
Ollie

John - I reckon we'd make 8:55AM (how precise!) in Kilkenny without spilling the cornflakes. (think I've just coined a phrase - spilling the cornflakes, breaking the speed limit .. ah well, it sounded good to me)

Ivan .. you will have to meet us for brunch if fabfive needs his beauty sleep

Ollie, thanks for the description .. you made it sound very romantic ..

One of those times where you need a conf chat facility ..

What about we try to meet at 8am at Kilcullen .. as we are trying to meet Ollie in Kilkenny for 8:55 .. because, we're all going to have a hard time tearing ourselves out of bed that early on a Sat anyway .. (those that don't have kids that is)

If we are late showing up for the various meets .. 3 at latest count! we can decide what to do as we go along .. phone numbers pm please

What d'ya reckon?
