If anyone knows anyone who has and are inclined to sell a left-hand drive late Mk1 or early Mk2 AUTOMATIC please let me know. (I'm close to Rosslare and may be going often to Portugal where I see 'usado' mx5s are almost double the price here. All used cars there are more expensive than here.) Thanks.

Might be worth putting a post up on nutz ,i've seem to remember leftie's coming up a few times there .
Also right hand drive cars still work on the continent
They could be rereged there if you are staying there long term

As above but bear in mind they wont register non EU conforming cars on the Continent9(no jap imports) which are the most popular in Automatic here.Best of luck with the search.Maybe another LH drive country they may be cheaper? Especially more Northern based countries like Belguim/Holland etc. Check out Gumtree in those countries.
