Brought it out for a spin after doing the steering and ball joints 7C13BDE7-E4AC-4C43-9237-340D7B2C0A75.png ABEE56C3-68FD-431A-A72E-D6D11D3FB5B8.png Not too sure how well the alignment is set, seems to be a bit of a shudder from the front at times, only done about 50km today so maybe a bit more miles might get it all settled down and then re do the alignment. Such a difference the new joints have made, I also changed the o2 sensor, car seems much more responsive so hopefully the mpg will improve as well

No it’s a s limited, not too sure what spec the v spec has but this has the red interior, nardi steering wheel/gear leaver Konb, yellow strut brace in engine bay, strut brace behind the head rests, bbs alloys, supposedly a 115bhp engine and it did have the rock hard bilstien suspension (which I replaced with mk2 units) when I got it.

They are the Bilstein's that I had on my old S-special...rock hard is right !! You're red interior really suits the dark bodywork. How are you finding the Mk2 units ?

The mk2 struts made it more comfortable for my weary bones, replaced as full units including top mounts. The old bilstiens had a broken rear spring when I got the car, you couldn’t tell without seeing it because the shocks were so hard

Took off the hard top in preparation for the good weather promised for this weekend. Oddly, I found it difficult to reverse the 15 feet or so back into the garage - in total it took me about 30km :- ) Roof 1.jpg Roof 2.jpg Roof 3.jpg
