Just back from giving the mx5 a damn good thrashing!

Postby mazdarati » Tue, 08 Jul 2008 8:38 +0000

Decided to take a half day from work as the sun had decided to show itself around Limerick for the first time since, oooh, maybe march :P

Anyways went out through Killaloe on into Scariff, from Scariff onto some seriously rural roads ended up doing maybe a 20 mile loop back into Scariff. Seems like whoever designed this road decided to build a hybrid of the Nordschleife and the Stelvio pass.

Back about two hours and I'm still grinning from ear-to-ear. To top it all caught up on a Jap import Forester turbo who promptly booted it when he saw me behind. Had a very enjoyable 10 mins with him pulling away on the straights and the mx5 making the ground back on the bends

just thought I'd share it. I reckon they should offer mx5's as a stress relief aid. was bothered about 20 different things today but for the life of me I can't remember a single one now!

I did the same today!

Started off.......on hols (though back to work in two months...sniff :P )
.......went into Wex town and parked beside 91 D blue mx5...have seen a girl driving this in last few days..........then out to see my dad who got a new Ford Mondeo...1.8 tci diesel....took it off him for a while...bloomin lovely car with huge oooommmpphhh....but then felt guilty so brought Eddie (car!) down to Rosslare. Did scare myself for half a mile when I had the car in gear 2 (auto) and couldn't figure out why the revs were so high...doooohhhh.

Though I didn't have a stressful day I really enjoyed it!

Want a bloody summer now though please!!!!!!!!!!!
