Brake pipe

Postby Pops » Wed, 23 Oct 2024 11:40 +0000

Bought replacement Flexi pipes last year but never fitted them because the first one I tried to open was seized, I'm sure the metal pipe is going to break.
So, now I'm thinking of getting a break pipe flaring kit so that I can replace any pipes that are needed, does anyone know what size of pipe and union's is used on the mk1

Thanks Steve, found some flaring tools on temu, good prices but not sure if they're the size needed

Haven't done anything with it yet, had to deal with a Peugeot NCT failure due to rust. Also have about 10 days to fix the rust on the honda NCT failure, different testers find different things to fail the car on, car still has the rusty brake disc that was an advisory last year but not this , it now has a fail for headlight slightly too high which hasn't been a problem for the last 4 tests, the rust it failed on looks like it's been there a few years, pot luck is best way to describe the NCT results
