Postby Stig » Sun, 10 Aug 2008 8:04 +0000

Hi all,

Well, just home - Thanks for the support in my first ever run that i organised. I'am and everyone is delighted with the turn out - 22 cars was it??, and cappachino and ivans Porche.

New fresh faces like Pascal, Slom75 and Derrrick, and Rocky were great to witness and meet! Thanks for coming everyone. Shean represented the ailing Female club membership and is a joy to have aboard!

Thanks To Lynott (padraig) for the support in the merc and the effort he made in getting down the m50 in his 5!
Alos, to Cloggy and kevin and Padraig for the craic in the pub last night.
Thanks to all who battled the weather to come - i know it was shite conditions but you know, we did'nt do too bad today at all.......

Once again, Thanks and lets do it again sometime maybe nxt year.
So, Post the pics please! Looking forward to seeing em'.

What the next run? Steve, Galway No 2???? Kerry? wha???
Rgds,

Ollie.

ps - sorry for all the scoobys showing up - it wasn't planned.....must check their site to see what they say about us...LOL

:D

Just in myself, thanks again ollie for organising and I think a big thank you should go to Padraig for doing his very best to keep us all together by bringing up the rear and picking up the strays every so often.
Great run despite the weather. Good to meet all the new guys and see all the old faces again.
Looking forward to the next one already.

Feck the dark nights we can still go out. I think a starlight run would be cool if it was a dry night.

Thanks for all the errrrrrrrrm, Thanks!
Really, there is not a lot to organising a run.

Think of a route and a date, post it on the forum, and babysit the thread a bit feeding info and updating attendances etc. Also, post some B&B's details, simmer and stir, and VOILA! You have a great run with good friends in our terrific cars!

pics and next run details please. :D :D

Rgds,

Ollie.

Got up early this morning(about 10a.m.) to check out how things went. It seems ye had a great day despite the weather, really looking forward to the pics later on. Got a txt from my sis to say that people had to abandon their motors on the M50.....Jeez, just got out of the country in time then, eh?
Ah well, back to the pool then

will post later

Hey John, thanks for the photo!

Actually the weather was quite ok. We had the tops down for most of the day. In fact Rob and I made the trip back to Dublin topless .. was freezing when I got home .. but we're tough!

Even have the red nose today to show for it!

Enjoy your holiday ..

....oh am so jeolous!

ended up in wexford on saturday day/saturday night. I got back to find my car had a flat tyre on Sunday morning and when I went to bring it to a garage, i found that I had another flat tyre (or so I thought).

Turns out, the valves had cracked on both. Cheap to repair thankfully.

Will definitely be on for the next run whenever that is.

Glad you guys had a great time
