Radio Aerial stay's up

Hey all,

I have a question, Does the radio Aerial go down when you turn your radio to CD or Ipod? mine used to (I think) and I don't know why it doesn't do that now. any hints?

1) check if its hooked up to the back of your stereo (blue wire I think.. check it though.. )

2) toothed nylon strip on the inside of the aerial may have snapped... you can pick up new ones from mx5parts, easy enough to change over.
