Yeah. Friends that doesn't seem likely Catch at the next one Olly.[/quote]
One Mk2 is more than a match for 20 Mk1's
And becos i dont have a Mk1, i actually have a life (i.e friends...well a friend at least and he is bloody emigrating)
Ash, gutted i cant go and give the magazine a chance to take a piccie of a real car instead of all the ugly Mk1's. Lets hope they have the "beautiful" filters for the camera and you lot should be ok.
Right then guys, have a great day. Try not to lose each other and remember....be careful out there.

Hey Guys,
with regards to the meet and the presence of the Mazda People.I guess it would be an idea to play it all by ear and let the volume of 5's do the talking initially.
We dont know what the mazda people are looking for but if they have an agenda I'm sure they will bring it to the group and we could gauge our response from there.
However,What would we be looking for as a club ?
My twopence worth of suggestions as a newbie would be:
1.Sponsorship to provide us with the club logo embrodered on a polo top or baseball cap etc plus the famous car stuickers.
2.Exposure as a club via the Mazda pa machine ie. A feature on the club PHOTOSHOOT DAY ( Increase in members potential)
3.Web space/free hosting.
4.Discounted service parts or club members.
I am quite sure that Mazda have thier own ideas but these might be of benifit o the club.

Re - the mazda irl contact.........thanks for the injection of ideas.....I'm now in contact with them (thanks to Steve) nd i'll be hooking up with mazda in the coming weeks to see whats what and get a vision of what they have in mind.
Pity ya cant make the run.......
